someone quoted me yesterday sayin people where prob out celebrating, maybe true but I'd just wish they find a reason to stay off here after a defeat too.Calm down before posting and you're less likely to post ****e.

That said as others have mentioned certain people are only around after a bad result.

Like I mentioned the words of you'll never walk alone are just that to some people, words. They fail to get the meaning behind those words.
Maybe some people find it cathartic to get their frustrations out and just vent off after a bad result?

I have to say I don't really mind a bit of frustration from posters just after a match. What gets me is when people calm down and then seem to enjoy whinging and refusing to see any positives or the bigger picture. A post match thread is probably the sort of place where over time the level of discussion should improve.

Another thing that I have been mulling over since the match is this:
Was a big reason that Mascherano and Lucas did so well because we had two playmaking players in the team alongside them in Aurelio and Benayoun. I've felt that we have lacked that sort of creativity without Alonso prompting from deep and needed to move this capacity elsewhere in the team - with those two there we seemed to gain more connections between different areas of the team.

You could also say that Danny Agger helped them out by bringing the ball out on occasion. I guess your theory will be tested out against Fulham. A tough team to break down at the best of times and one likely full of confidence after coming back from two goals down against Man City.
          Forwards.......

Aye that's true and I have suggested that elsewhere - I think that is linked to AFIIs old theory that we basically couldn't play football without Agger or Alonso to bring the ball out from deep. I think it was a bit of an exaggeration but certainly the more quickly and effectively you get the ball out of the defensive 3rd the better you tend to do as a team.

not sure if we couldnt play football, but carragher at least can pass it to someone who can do something with it in agger ......to often he looks up no movement = hoof.

we definitely lack the movemment of Arsenal or Scum over the last couple of years.
