Harkness was so bad, I can't believe that Souness took him off our hands when he moved on to ****ing Benfica up

The most notable thing about him was what I read in Robbie Fowler's book, apparently when Stan joined the club and everyone was finding out how much of a psycho he was Harkness shat (or put some of his ****) in his toiletry bag. Apparently Collymore went nuts.

The positioning thing is also definitely something with Dossena, he hadn't played as a left fullback since he was young and at Udinese mainly played as a wing back, at Napoli he plays in that same position with a back 3 behind him with Zuniga or Maggio as the right wing back allowing them less defensive responsibility but a greater overall responsibility and workload.

Carragher was a good left back for us. Very solid and dependable. Not great attacking wise but at least he did the basics to a high level.
