    Well he shouldn't raise them!

On the positive as mentioned Degen played well and aquilani looked promising when brought on. Also we create a fair bit of chances, so that's good.

Voronin gets a lot of **** tonight, but I half the time it was to me poor runs from Ngog. You can see Voronin got a lot of game intelligence, but especially Ngog and Babbel made poor runs all around him making his passes look poor. While he might not be what we are seeking, I do think he can offer more than Babbel tbh.

    ah well off to bed.

Agree totally matched them with passing, very impressed with it, had feared been cut to ribbons prior to game and for first few minutes.

And it was aquilani, happy days; perfect technique on overhead, beautiful.

Very entertaining, and thought we deserved a draw at minimum.

Aquilani, whilst only 15 minute cameo, showed glimpses of his passing range.
Plus, was it him who tried the overhead, which should have led to peno?
Looked goalbound to me; if so, he's showed more than most do in a 15 minute or less cameo, that he looks like the real deal.

Pretty much - it was like both Managers didn't really care about the result.

I thought they did pretty well. Spearing's passing and hustle caught the eye, while Plessis is a pretty solid defensive midfielder.

Spearing will not make it at the highest level, his stature is just too diminutive to make it in midfield - I mean even Mascherano must tower over him?!

We showed some good attacking intent in the second half but just couldn't apply the final touch that would bring us an equaliser.
I thought we deserved the result.

And 5 lie still pissing me off!
