Fulham way is a hard game.

I thought we were the better team up until the final third.

Kuyt was rubbish and it all went tits up when he stupidly tried to keep the ball in and led to their 2nd goal. Schoolboy stuff. From then we were ****ed.

Degen should never have been sent off.

Carra got wrong side and yes he pulled him back but he did win the tackle. I love the fact this sending off is all the evidence some need to nail the coffin lid down on his career. He was immense only 6 days ago!

How apt that Rafa's favourite f**k buddy contributed to his possible downfall.

I can't see anyway back from this for Rafa. Its all conspired against him. Injuries, players wanting to jump ship (alonso & masher), freak goals you name it and its happened.

I hope he stays but a bit of me would love to turn on the tv on monday and kenny had been put in charge. Nostaglic reasons only.

Torres & Benayoun were head and shoulders our best players. I can see the argument for the CL game, abso*******lutely Bob, but there is a time to consider players for the next game. That time, IMO, should be when a positive result for the current game is in sight. Today, it wasn't

The red cards are immaterial and I fully expect at least one to be overturned

Was talking to a City fan this arvo and it struck me that I rarely enjoy watching us play football these days

Absolutely bewildered by pathetic decisions from the manager today. We had two players on the pitch that Fulham had to actually worry about. Why you would take off the best striker in the world and our most creative attacker and leave on a useless bunch when it is 1-1 I will never know.

Fully deserved to lose that game and after backing Rafa consistantly, I can't today, there is no excuse.

He is more interested in the Champions League than he is in the League, after 5 years, he still doesn't get it...

Torres still not 100% and Benayoun was not playing well. There was nothing wrong with the subs!

For those who didnt watch the game....

Torres looked completely bemused by being taken off and Yossi blanked Rafa when he was taken off. Neither looked injured and both had been, as others have said, the best players on the pitch. The game was not lost when they were taken off.

I can only think he has given up on the league. If he has, it's a disgrace. But has he been told to?

                      Disaster.

I don't want Rafa sacked, but even his biggest fanboy couldn't defend him after that game.

Only thing I can say in his defense is that a fully fit Liverpool squad would struggle to get a win there, Craven Cottage is not a walk in the park.

But even with all those players missing, Liverpool should still be able to get a result. I saw our line up, and whilst it was poor, it did look good enough. I think it is fairl obvious now that after this seasons results myself and others have misguided views about how good some of the Liverpool players are.

But in my book, there had better be a damn good reason for taking Torres of with half an hour to play. And I don't want to hear Rafa say he brought him off so he would be fit for Lyon. The league should be our number one priority. Same goes with regards to Yossi.

As Joe said, we seen it before when we lost 3-2 to Reading. Really bad managing by Rafa. He needs to learn.
                      Forwards.......

We need to stick with Rafa, we need to pull this through. We cannot afford to have another change of manager, as we have gone a long way since he's come in. This has got to be a momentary lapse (a long one since the start of the season ), but it is important to stick through it at this point in time.

I don't understand what happened today. It was surreal, because we were on top in the first half and we seemed to be on target for a scrappy win. Then we never got going second half and everything went bad as soon as Torres was substituted.

And we are making stupid mistakes all over the pitch. What was Kuyt doing going for that ball instead of letting it go for a throw in?
