If we lose Rafa, don't anyone kid themselves that we'd get Hiddink, Maureen or Capello, because we won't, it would end up being someone like Klinsmann.

Now as most are saying that Rafa should go for one reason[does it make sense to get rid mid season] or another, time we had a list of Managerial candidates and why they would be right as possible future Liverpool f.c manager!
so feel free to add your choices here be it from next season or caretaker manager for the remainder of this season and please bear in mind we have two cowboys in charge who might just make their own choice considering their vast knowledge of football how freaky is that

IF rafa where to leave or get the sack, I can't really see any of the current top managers being available for our club, which is just another reason to keep him on (besides him being a great manager)

I would like to see either Hiddink, Capello or Mourinho as others have stated as they are amongst the most succesfull managers in the game currently. Marcello Lippi would also be a fantastic choice as manager, but also unavailable. I wouldn't mind wenger now that we are talking about non-realistic targets!

So the current state is that we will end up with some lesser manager if Rafa left, and I would basically rather see someone connected to the club get his chance, than I would seeing us employ Klinsmann or the like.
