Yes but you said in your opening post that "most" wanted Rafa to go. Now you say it's "several".

On the basis of that, what's the point of this thread.

For what it's worth, back on planet earth, most Liverpool fans - by that I mean a good 95% - that I know are rock solidly behind the manager. He's a frigging magician to do what he has done while having his hands tied behind his back

If Rafa did go, i would love it, love it to be Jose, best in the world imo.

Or Guardiola, but would never happen.

It has to be either Hiddink or Rijkaard for me. A combo of both will be great. The former has the ability to play agressive football while the latter is good on the creative side of the game. We used to have both the qualities in the all conquering years of the 70s and 80s.

I hate Jose Mourhino as a person and a manager. He would not have been so successful at Chelsea without Romans millions.

Fabio Capello or even Arsene Wenger would be my choice.

                      Did well with Porto too.

Jose Mourinho is a funny guy and i like him.Rafa is not leaving but if ever the day came, then jose is the man to take over.hiddink would not come, wenger would not come, capello will retire after england job i think, unless fergie has a word with him.

Obviously I'd still support the team but I'd have real difficulty stomaching Mourinho here. He acted with such a lack of class, when at Chelsea, that he just seemed the antithesis of LFC. I do think that he'd be a success here, though, so I'd watch with gritted teeth.
Hiddink would be my favourite, Capello or Wenger but none of those would be interested.
Having said all of that I'm still convinced that Rafa is the best man for the job, weird substitions and tactical moves not withstanding.

Don't understand the loathing of Mourinho. I think he pissed every opposition team off only because he put in a siege mentality at Chelsea. Sure he was a media whore but I could give a **** what the manager did as long as he got us playing on the pitch, had enough stature to keep Torres, Gerrard and Pepe, and won us number 19. Opposition fans hate Ferguson too. Do you think scum fans care?

Rafa will not be here forever. He may not be here next season. Getting rid of the owners is the priority but on the pitch we are poor. My preference is

                            Rafa,
                            Jose,
                            Hiddink,
                            Capello

Or we could take a punt on an up and coming manager like Martinez at Wigan.

Danny, you are letting facts get in the way of a bad argument!

                                Agreed
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
