5 Seasons in charge ...76 players signed.....and we dont have a decent squad......criminal absolutley criminal......we are just not good enough. Can't beleive Aqua man didn't get a run out, could have done with more creativity.

it would bring confidence and i havent a problem playing sundays, we play better under pressure and knowing what we have to do.

Nope not yet,disappointed as much as you are but this season will have a sting in it's tail.Very disappointed in the result but not in today's performance though, a step up from the weekend's game .

Argh, you're right...I would normally think like that, this season has just been utterly disastrous though. So many games now where you've thought "ok, this is where we turn it around". Then Utd and things seem great again, then Fulham and now tonight. It's just depressing.

Then they'll look stupid if they dont win the group and draw Man Utd or Barca, they'll be going to win the group and given they're in a tin pot league these matches are huge for them. Whether they get a result is another matter but they'll try. We cant draw them in the next round so we are really relevant to them.

No I know we are not relevant to them in the next round but if you asked teams who they would like out of the competition, Liverpool or Fiorentina, I think the answer would be a unanimous Liverpool.

As for going to win the group I think you are right but they will be very happy with a draw to do that (which I know is risky business).

Overall, gutting.

In any other season that would have been a fantastic performance and a night where you would be proud to be a red. The lads on the whole stood up tonight with their backs to the wall and were immense. The team was down to the bare bones yet they went away to one of the top teams in Europe and played them of the park.

Yet, as Rafa himself will say, it is the small details that cost us.

Torres missed a sitter. Voronin missed an even better chance. Lucas missed a golden chance. Babel could have made it two or at least made Lloris work. Kuyt was unlucky with two half chances. We could have scored a hat full tonight.

At the other end they had two chances. Both falling to Lopez after he was brought into the centre. Kyrgiakos with a foolish header back for the first. The second was just a catalouge of errors. Babel mistimes a jump, but still we have plenty of time to deal with it. The first SERIOUS error comes from Agger, who DUCKS and lets the ball go over his head. Then Kyrgiakos gets out muscled and slides in? Why the **** does he slide in? Had he followed the ball and Lopez he may have prevented the goal.

My first post, some of you guys don.t deserve to support this club, the way you talk about our players is a disgrace, they were pretty good today and nearly achieved a great result, but no lets just slag individuals off, very poor show

If some of those players showed a fraction of the passion and commitment the average fan possesses then our season wouldn't be disappearing down the ****ter. I'm annoyed with the owners as much as anyone.

The greek, Voronin, Carragher and Dirk Kuyt - all useless tonight. Unlucky in the end but individual mistakes keep costing us. The greek should never play. Carra is never a right back in a million years. He's a backs to the wall defender and should have played with Agger in the centre, no matter who was at right back.

Harsh way to go out of the competition but let's face it... for the entire season our defence has been shaky. Every time the opposition attack you feel like we are going to concede. How many clean sheets have we had this season again? The defence is the weak link.

I don't understand why everyone's having a go at Kyrgiakos - yes he didn't do well for the goal but we should have been at least 3-0 up by that stage - Voronin & Lucas cost us the game, not Kyrgiakos...

Not happy, but i am a true LFC supporter and would never slate inderviduals, to the degree that you do. I try and get behind them, show them my support and make sure that they know that I am behind them, no matter what. Maybe if a few of you so called hard core fans did the same, then maybe we, the supporters, can help our boys!!

But no lets all bitch and moan, ask for Rafa to leave and say every man in the squad is crap.

To be honest Torres looked absolutely shot and I think it was quite right to take him off. However I do think it would of been worth the risk to bring Aquilani on instead of Ngog. Whether it would of made any difference to the outcome, well we will never know.
