Really gutted tonight ,we deserved much more but a few things sums things up for me about the season and squad, Carra struggled early doors but switching positions didn't help so he did ok , unlucky with a few early challenges.

I have read 2 pages and yet no mention of Lucas? ................about ****ing time ,The lad was one of our better players and because Veronin was so ****ing ****e ( I'm being polite there) the attention has been switched to others. Babel was Babel..................brilliant goal.................2 mins later a free kick that went for a THROW...............sums him up really.

Veronin an international footballer?......................is that guy actually being paid to play football?...............Defence looked strong ( until last Min) .r

To sum it up we was very unlucky tonight , ref was piss poor , added time was a ****ing joke , Rafa kept Torres on for as long as possible and Veronin is pants.

By the the way the only fault You could put at Rafa is Keeping that Ponytail cock on for so long ...............PLEASE AVOID THE " RAFA BASHING THREADS"

Yeah lets **** that Europa league off!!! Also lets **** off whatever prize money it may offer to soften the blow of being out of the CL (If that happens) and with the shortfall of cash next summer lets sell our best players to make up the difference! As that is what it will come too!

We need every bit of cash we can get our hands on. We are not in a position to knock back any prize money at the minute. If playing in the eurpa league meant we kept torres and go then so be it.

Overall, gutting.

In any other season that would have been a fantastic performance and a night where you would be proud to be a red. The lads on the whole stood up tonight with their backs to the wall and were immense. The team was down to the bare bones yet they went away to one of the top teams in Europe and played them of the park.

Yet, as Rafa himself will say, it is the small details that cost us.

Torres missed a sitter. Voronin missed an even better chance. Lucas missed a golden chance. Babel could have made it two or at least made Lloris work. Kuyt was unlucky with two half chances. We could have scored a hat full tonight.

At the other end they had two chances. Both falling to Lopez after he was brought into the centre. Kyrgiakos with a foolish header back for the first. The second was just a catalouge of errors. Babel mistimes a jump, but still we have plenty of time to deal with it. The first SERIOUS error comes from Agger, who DUCKS and lets the ball go over his head. Then Kyrgiakos gets out muscled and slides in? Why the **** does he slide in? Had he followed the ball and Lopez he may have prevented the goal.

The CL teams play on Tuesdays and Weds and then play on Sat or Sun. If we have to play on a Sun too we will have 24 hours less preparation than our major rivals. It's a DISADVANTAGE that will effect our EPL form. I still think they'll stick us on a monday more often.

Argh, you're right...I would normally think like that, this season has just been utterly disastrous though. So many games now where you've thought "ok, this is where we turn it around". Then Utd and things seem great again, then Fulham and now tonight. It's just depressing.

I don't understand why everyone's having a go at Kyrgiakos - yes he didn't do well for the goal but we should have been at least 3-0 up by that stage - Voronin & Lucas cost us the game, not Kyrgiakos...

Not happy, but i am a true LFC supporter and would never slate inderviduals, to the degree that you do. I try and get behind them, show them my support and make sure that they know that I am behind them, no matter what. Maybe if a few of you so called hard core fans did the same, then maybe we, the supporters, can help our boys!!

But no lets all bitch and moan, ask for Rafa to leave and say every man in the squad is crap.

The rest of the season is going to be very painful i feel.

Then they'll look stupid if they dont win the group and draw Man Utd or Barca, they'll be going to win the group and given they're in a tin pot league these matches are huge for them. Whether they get a result is another matter but they'll try. We cant draw them in the next round so we are really relevant to them.

If we beat Fiorentina by ten goals and when Lyon beat Debrecen at home then the table will look like this:
