    Hicks and Gillet

I hold you two pair of cunts responsible for this CLUSTER**** of a season.

You pocketed the money from Alonso to pay the interest on the debt you have saddled the club with.

Tha money should have been spent on a player or two

I hope you pair of cunts are happy with yourselves, as you whining yanks say

    THE BUCK STOPS WITH YOU!!!

FFS get out our club so we can restore some pride

    CUNTS!!!

Yawn. You probably want the stadium and the infrastructure to make us continually successful yet so openly criticise the owners for poor performances on the pitch? To undertake such projects during a time where markets are collapsing haven't helped but you just can't call for their heads and create more instability.

Whilst i completely agree with the sentiment, let's remember most of us read this site from work and having cunt in giant red letting all over my screen is hardly subtle.

Quite honestly, it's not their fault we've had a **** start to the season. The money from the Alonso sale may have vanished into thin air but a investment was made into signing a player who was injured. And now that he's not injured, Rafa does not seem to want to play him. I think the blame can attributed to 2 factors: all the injuries we've had and Rafa Benitez. Even we had all the money in the world, I doubt very much Rafa would be able to deliver the title to us anyway.

Not buying a quality striker and a quality CB cost us the season, and I hold G&H responsible for that. We bought a CB who's nowhere near the quality required and we ended up relying on N'Gog to bail us if Torres is injured. He's not a bad player, but it's too much for him at this stage.

That's two players that could have made this season very different. Look at how **** our defence is.

We obviously lack strength in certain areas, the fact our net transfer spend for the last couple of years is approximately zero, how are we supposed to compete? The performance on the pitch is due to a number of factors and lack of investment is a key one of them IMO

They bought Johnson and Aqualani with Alonso's money didn't they?

Rafa chose to spend the money how he wanted.

                Stop making excuses...

Net spend was zero meaning we only spent what we brought in from sales, we should have some other money aswell

At the end of they day, we cant blame them for the ****e performances.

Rafa, as much as i loved him, he's ran out of ideas.. Hurts me to say it, because i've backed him up until now. But i think it showed today, when we nicked a goal, and sat back. Houllier version 2.

Why does it seem as though our players think that 1 goal is enough to win games, that they do not feel a need to try and push on for a second goal?

Gillette and Hicks didn't blow 18m on a defender who is more injury prone than Harry Kewell (Johnson) and 20m on a midfielder who is still recovering from a long term injury. They'e not responsbile for the endless hoofball we're resorting to. Scrounging home draws against the likes of Birmingham. Pathetic. I'll give Benitez until the end of the seaon - short term priority is to get out of that CL group into the last 16. A top 4 finish too and I'll forgive him for this horrendous season. Other than that, walk.

I'm not wrong though am I, they do seem to think that one goal is enough. If they do manage to get an elusive second then you half expect the floodgates to open as they did on a number of occasions last season but its getting that second goal that appears to be the psychological barrier.
