Abysmal Kuyt???? get a life mate he's a star
Wtf have you been watching? The reason most of our attacks down the right break down, the man with a poor touch, can't cross, pass, poor decisions, no pace never mind take a player on and beat him and his one time redeeming feature of scoring goals has gone too.

Lets be honest how many of the other big 3 clubs would take him? None i'd argue even citeh probably wouldn't.

oh yeah he's got bags of energy and helps out in defence, great thats really what we need from our attacking players, a half fit Benayoun was far more effective then a fully fit Kuyt. This lacking in technique type player is the type of player that certainly shouldn't be starting in the first team.
    We come not to play.

We need players with character, players that will step up and help Gerrard and Torres to win games, not just guys enjoying the ride when the going is good.

Typical example was vs the Arsenal kids where as captain he should have bossed his full back and the feckin game, he on that night like many nights was one of the worse players on the pitch.

"Cost us the league? " What bollocks.

At the end of the day, we were in a very, very strong position in January and Rafa in his infinite wisdom decided to reduce our attacking resources, leaving us with just 1 experienced class striker.

After a decent run, (just hammered Real Madrid) we sold Keane back, drew against Man City, then played Middlesborough and looked completely toothless (Torres was injured), losing 2-0. Thats 5 points dropped right away there, enough to win us the league.

Having 2 top strikers is better than 1. Its not rocket science.

I'm not disputing that, just thought I'd mention it
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Top striker? Keanes record at Liverpool was 1 in 4 !!!

And since he left we went onto win 12 premiership games draw 2 and lose 1

Some more Rocket science for you

So dropped 5pts from a possible 45pts without Keane,If we'd had the same return all season we'd have won the league with 101 pts.

Selling Keane had precisely **** all to do with us not winning the league last season. Keane was utter dung.

We sold Keane in January and hammered Real in February. What are you on about? Check your facts before posting please.

The thing is that you need your players to work together in combinations - a bit problem with us now is that we don't. Keane couldn't work effectively with either Torres or Gerrard when he was here and actually got in the way of both when all three played. He is a better player than he showed for us but he is not top class and he was also ill suited to the rest of our squad.

I looked into the money thing recently. Last year we made about 18m from being in the group stage and a further 5m for the two subsequent ties. Shaktar made an additional 7m for winning the Europa league after having dropped out of the CL.

The details are here if you are interested: http://www.uefa.com/multimediafiles/...7_download.pdf
