I disagree. With Yossi and Gerrard supporting, I'd prefer him out top to Ngog.

Ngog has pace and movement, Kuyt doesn't have that. Also since his regular role has been on the right, when he's played upfront he's been dropping too deep and not getting into the box enough. He does ok playing front in a partnership but if we're doing with one striker I'd prefer Ngog

Fair enough. But if Aquilani and Yossi are fit to play, there's no reason why Gerrard couldn't play really far forward, basically as a striker.

Don't think he has, no. Your theory does rely on a CL team wanting him.

Think he's only played twice this year, once in the league and once in the worthless cup.
