i know they say they don't represent all fans - but i think the problem is that they come across as 'the liverpool supporters unions' and as result, anything that SOS do or say, gets labelled as all liverpool supporters. ie - i would argue that i don't agree with them nor am i supporter of them and then the counter arguement will be "thats fine but they don't represent all liverpool fans" - but i still get plenty of mates be it blue noses/mancs/any other club -collegues, lads from footie, uni friends etc etc etc - saying - "I see you lot are protesting again" etc etc when it's not - it's just a small minority

It's all very well saying - they don't claim to represent all liverpool fans - but they certainly get recognised for it. Now i understand thats not their fault as such. - but one could argue, me and a load of mates are liverpool fans and we have a group just for us called LFC LA's, are going to manchester for a night out on saturday, we are going to wear our liverpool shirts and sing about munich............ we can do it though, because we don't represent all liverpool fans - only ourselves. - Now what do you reckon the respones would be from the mancs, the media, general public - etc - they would instantly label liverpool fans as scum - despite the fact we admit to not representing all liverpool fans - even our own fans and club would disown us, but that doesn't matter, the damage has been done

my point might be a bit extreme like
I think the other point is that if you assume that they don't represent all Liverpool fans - or even a majority then I don't see what legitimacy they have in terms of a lobby group. I'm sure they do very nice things putting on buses and what have you and that is fine work but certainly doesn't mean anyone should listen to their opinions on ownership any more than any other group. They offer no useful alternatives and simply make all supporters look like whining clowns in the eyes of most external observers.

It's the air of the idea that their way of support is superior as well and that only they have the true interests of the club at heart that gets me. It all just seem like egotistical ****wittery to me.
