I would have Van Der Sar, Heinze, Giggs, Ronaldo and Rooney out of their best eleven that I think would get into our team,

I would say on paper we are pretty evenly matched.

Although on the pitch, they are far better than us at the moment, they play better football to watch, and have more exciting players than we do and score more goals.

They just seem to have more cohesion than we do as well at the moment and put better moves together to break opponents down.

Forgot about Heinze, would take him as well.

I do and I concur with his sentiment

I wouldn't swap any of our team for a manc...

Hopefully our team will rise to the occasion and show what they can really do and beat them, after all we have a great manager in Rafa and better squad than you lot give credit for.

Have some faith and get behind our team and stop bumming them up.

I think you've missed the point of the thread entirely, the point originally was that I think we're stronger in 9 out of 11 positions, and it might even have been 10 out of 11 if Harry K had been fit and available. Now all we need to do is get those 9 better players working like a team and we should be able to take them.

It's better when you read threads properly.

In truth many of the players on both sides are evenly matched.
However, from their line up I'd take Van Der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Giggs, Ronaldo & Rooney. For us its Carra, Riise, SG, Alonso or Sissoko & Crouch.

Lost my patience with Koptalk. Had an Insider membership, they scrapped that as you know, so when I logged in I had this message saying I needed to contact them, so I sent them one of those messages on the web, as requested, saying I needed to be upgraded to Gold club, I then rang Steve's number a few times, as requested, no answer, left a message with my details saying I needed upgraded or they could call me back, still no sign of any service for me on the website. This is all in between becoming a dad and having a brand new baby and running back and forward to the hospital, then feeding and changing nappies etc. Could do without it, know what I mean, simply don't have time to chase them? They should just upgrade you automatically, why should you have to contact them, its pathetic and I've lost my patience with it.

I'd take Van der Sar, Neville, Heinze, Ronaldo, Giggs, Saha and Rooney. Possibly Ferdinand too.

Then I'd play Gerrard and Sissoko or Alonso in centre mid, and two of our three centre halves at the back.

Essentially though they're strong up front and on the flanks.

We are strong in centre back and centre midfield - though we then dilute that by forcing Gerrard to try to plug our other inadequacies.
