Aqualini not playing but being on the bench is becoming a total joke at this stage. The guy is getting no game time, and when he does play the expectation on him will be immense.
I don't understand people who keep touting the sale of Keane as the problem, he was dire for us, cutting our losses was the right decision, if we'd hung on to him we'd have lost alot more money
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I personally thought we were unlucky not to grab a winner as the game wore on. Was also pleased to see a clean sheet. Which has been a problem this season.
what if mccarthy had taken his chance?

But he didn't. If Kalinic had scored on the break for Blackburn we would be talking about a defeat.

true the team morale is very low. i like el zhar on the right flank. felt he provided some pace and width.

I wasn't touting the sale of Keane as the problem, I was simply pointing out we didn't need to buy a striker if we had kept him. The guy has scored goals everywhere he has played. The guy got f*ck all game time, and then got the cold shoulder and at times wasn't even in the squad. An absolute disgraceful way to treat a player who has scored goals everywhere he has played.

He hasn't been the only player who has got the cold shoulder from Raffa. Once he takes a dislike to you your f*cked.

True enough. The anti rafa brigade are pretty vocal on this forum.

Thought it was an improvement on most October/November performances.

Saj. In fairness Rafa has had huge problems with injuries this season. He has not IMO done as well as he should have with what's been available, but as we will not be letting him go until the end of the season I think some posters are correct to keep the faith, back the manager, and make a sound judgement at the end of the season.

If we come 4th, not too far off the top and win the Europa Cup and FA cup (and Man Utd don't win the league) then it will not have been a complete disaster of a season.

My point is about the reaction of people on this forum. Throwing the toys out of the pram after a 0-0 we were unlucky not to win is OTT IMO.

Keane was not good enough mate. End Off.

The problem is that he has not been replaced with another attacker of better quality. Instead we had to recall Voronin who is simply dire.

We were not unlucky. We were just not good enough. Unlucky is when you dominate a game and create plenty of chances. We did not dominate this game and we did not create plenty of chances.

In the balance of play maybe we just slightly deserved it. Maybe. But I wouldn't call that unlucky.
