I don't understand people who keep touting the sale of Keane as the problem, he was dire for us, cutting our losses was the right decision, if we'd hung on to him we'd have lost alot more moneyThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

what if mccarthy had taken his chance?Originally posted by banditos View PostI'm glad i'm not in the trenches with you lot. ****ing drama queens. If N'gog had buried that chance he smacked against the crossbar, no-one would be on here bitching about Rafa and calling for his head.
I personally thought we were unlucky not to grab a winner as the game wore on. Was also pleased to see a clean sheet. Which has been a problem this season.

But he didn't. If Kalinic had scored on the break for Blackburn we would be talking about a defeat.Originally posted by banditos View PostI'm glad i'm not in the trenches with you lot. ****ing drama queens. true the team morale is very low. i like el zhar on the right flank. felt he provided some pace and width.Originally posted by Marc. I wasn't touting the sale of Keane as the problem, I was simply pointing out we didn't need to buy a striker if we had kept him. The guy has scored goals everywhere he has played. The guy got f*ck all game time, and then got the cold shoulder and at times wasn't even in the squad. An absolute disgraceful way to treat a player who has scored goals everywhere he has played.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI don't understand people who keep touting the sale of Keane as the problem, he was dire for us, cutting our losses was the right decision, if we'd hung on to him we'd have lost alot more money
He hasn't been the only player who has got the cold shoulder from Raffa. Once he takes a dislike to you your f*cked.El Kloppo !!
"As a player I had fifth division skills and a first division brain. The result was a second division footballer"
"How could I justify picking up my pay cheque if I stand here and say the tie is over? It would be just as stupid as saying we're going to walk all over them [in the second leg]. I can always supply silly answers to silly questions...... Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

Saj. In fairness Rafa has had huge problems with injuries this season. He has not IMO done as well as he should have with what's been available, but as we will not be letting him go until the end of the season I think some posters are correct to keep the faith, back the manager, and make a sound judgement at the end of the season.Originally posted by saj View PostStop looking at the IF's - the fact is we were woeful and drew. The whole world is questioning Rafa's ability to manage this team but yet Rafa can still no wrong in some red tinted eyes
If we come 4th, not too far off the top and win the Europa Cup and FA cup (and Man Utd don't win the league) then it will not have been a complete disaster of a season.Forwards.......

The problem is that he has not been replaced with another attacker of better quality. Instead we had to recall Voronin who is simply dire.Forwards.......

We were not unlucky. We were just not good enough. Unlucky is when you dominate a game and create plenty of chances. We did not dominate this game and we did not create plenty of chances.Originally posted by banditos View PostMy point is about the reaction of people on this forum. In the balance of play maybe we just slightly deserved it. Maybe. But I wouldn't call that unlucky.Forwards.......
