The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I have gone from (1) desperately wanting Rafa to change his ways to (2) wanting him to go while knowing I'd feel sad about it to (3) wanting him to just get the **** away from my club as I can no longer stand to even look at or hear him ( exactly how I felt - and still feel - about Houllier in his final season). He is insane, the only way to describe his decision-making is insanity.

These days the only enjoyment I am getting from football is following Bournemouth's push for promotion from League 2. They have a manager who, at the tender age of 31, has balls twice as big as Rafa's and twice the football nous.

No he's not. He just struggles when playing with others who, like him, lack creativity.

Look how good a job he does for the Dutch, and how well he did towards the back end of last season for us.
        Forwards.......

Really? Didn't have the heart to look at the table. Is this season really gonna be as bad as GH's penultimate one?
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

no sense of urgency from ALL players even though time was running out, pepe was the only one in the team i wouldnt criticise.
Kuyt's been **** for a good 2 seasons now, you look past his fitness and effort levels and its just nothing. The lack of urgency was really noticable, we looked average and deflated.

It will be if we fail to get and keep players fit.

Funny thing is, had we brought in a decent back up striker to Torres we would be looking at a very different league table and would still be in the Champions League. I have no doubt what so ever that the failure to splash the cash has cost us big time.

even with all the money in the world. certain players would play game in game out and the formation will remain the same, the baffling subsitutions will remain and the negative attitude would remain.

I'm not convinced it's that simple to be honest, I think we really lack creativity, I believe if we had a more creative midfield we could have managed without Torres, like we did last season. I think Ngog would have got goals given chances. An extra striker would be nice, but I don't think that's at the heart of the problem

Football is as fast as you want to play it. Playing at a break neck speed does not guarantee a victory. In fact it means you gift possession of the ball that much quicker.
