Fair enough. I would say that we pretty much domintated the last 20 mins though and probably could've done with Nando to come of the bench and give us the cutting edge we needed to win it.Originally posted by red g View Post
if either team lost that game i would have said they were unlucky
Of course everone's frustrated, me included, but most adults learn to control their frustration

Agree completely bro, and that is a massive, massive factor, but there are systemic issues rafa needs address too.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIt will be if we fail to get and keep players fit.
Funny thing is, had we brought in a decent back up striker to Torres we would be looking at a very different league table and would still be in the Champions League. I have no doubt what so ever that the failure to splash the cash has cost us big time.
Chavs score. Cannot believe have to support these cunts over City, who I have a soft spot for living here.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

What's wrong with that. I am of the opinion that there are people who will look at the negatives even if we win 3-0. Who is the bigger fool?Originally posted by saj View PostMate, no point in arguing with people who are never going to acknowledge that facts don't lie. People will look at positives even if we're beaten 3-0! The fact is, Rafa is starting to lose it.
If people want to mope and feel depressed then that's there perogative. But don't have a go at those who wish to remain positive. They are the ones who kept singing at Half time in Istanbul and inspired our players to the greatest victory in the clubs history.Forwards.......

You attack the 'Rafa bashers' and then post what, in a nutshell, sums up what we are so angry about - we have been reduced to watching how ****ing Spurs and ****ing Man City do. We have gone from being Premiership contenders to being the underdogs for 4th spot. When that is happening then no way am I going to wait till the end of the season to express my anger.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostLet's see how Spurs and City do mate.

We all said at the start of the season that If we avaided injuries this year we could have a real go at winning the league this year. I didn't see you or anybody else saying otherwise.
erm, we never won the league. OK, we weren't far off winning it but we have heavily regressed and only a fool would not be able to see that. I'm sorry mate but the league table doesn't lie. And we're playing a style of football that even Houllier would be ashamed of.
And what do you make of the whole Aqulani affair? My kebab comes with chilli sauce

There are a number of factors to explain why we have been extremely ****e this season. It's not always Rafa is it? Out of form players, injuries galore, Alonso and Mascherano saga ....Originally posted by scully View PostYou attack the 'Rafa bashers' and then post what, in a nutshell, sums up what we are so angry about - we have been reduced to watching how ****ing Spurs and ****ing Man City do. If you wish to live on past glories then that's fine. That's history now. Look at the present and future - the future IMO is looking very bleak under Benitez and I feel that maybe it's time we had a different manager.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWhat's wrong with that.
