Another clean sheet at a place where it's hard to get a result against a team whose strenghts mirror our weaknesses.

It was a step in the right direction, building confidence by staying solid and rebuiilding the belief in our defence. Was it great? No. Can we do considerably better? Yes. Will we? I think so.

I think thats pushing things a bit. The day when LFC can go to a place like Blackburn and be happy with a draw and not only that, the draw builds confidence, is a very sad day indeed.

It may be a toughish place to go, but we created very little indeed, yet against the other top 3 clubs, they've conceded some 16 goals in 4 games, yes 16.

I still don't believe that a manager with the record ours has can become such a bad manager as some are suggesting because of one bad run of games, our defensive record in the prem has been second to none since he took over, as has our goal scoring, although i'm very very very dissapointed, i am extremely confident that next season would'nt be like this one, not that this one is over yet.

But by **** this is painful.

We are just to reliant on Torres as a team right now - can do **** all without him, and that just says the policy for squad players have not been good enough, and we are stuck with being reliant on basically 1 player.

Just out of interest, how many games has Torres played for us and how many could he have played for us without his injuries?

I am just hoping that squiliani comes in, storms the premiership and we can forget this 3month blip of someone who has been a great manager for us, he has brought us some real highlights and performed miracles with the team and squad at his disposal.

Must be very difficult for him to have to trust in the likes of the greek, vrononin and babel knowing that any of the other top 10 clubs could just get in better players as they have money......it exacerbates the Aquiliani situation and puts even more pressure on the other players to perform

Lots and lots of extenuating circumstances coming together to make it a truly **** season so far.

Which started poorly before a ball had even been kicked, with the reduction of 20mill off the managers budget, money he had no doubt already spent in his head.

Instead of investing in a good title challenge they did the exact opposite, then injuries came along and truly threw a spanner in the works, we are still recovering.
