Spot on really. We didn't even seem to know how to use our strongest asset, Torres. In the second half I hardly heard him mentioned, says it all reallyOriginally posted by Rich View PostAnd we can't point the finger at injuries.
We're soft, and pretty much clueless when things go against us.

That's not a fair comment. 3 wins in 15 matches is unacceptable under any circumstances. If we continue in this vain, and we're showing no signs of improving, we're going to finish closer to the relegation zone than the top of the table.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostSo many turncoat fans. Sickening, no better than geordies. Yes this season is ****, but it goes against what the club is about to give up because we have had a **** first half to the season.
Would you be satisfied with that?A humble guy with healthy desire.

We have the worst defence in the league. By a mile. We concede an obscene amount of goals even if the opposition creates very little opportunities and even though we usually enjoy most of the possession. Today it was Johnson but every time it's someone else. We are mentally the softest and most pathetic team in the league. A coincidence or bad luck can't go on forever. It's worse that we seem to have raised our game against our two biggest rivals which is a testament of a weak, unmotivated team that needs a "big game" to show up.Originally posted by Rich View PostAnd we can't point the finger at injuries.

Gerrard, also, with one of the most disgraceful games I've ever seen him play to cap the worst season of his career.

What the **** is he getting paid £4m a season for? Sit on his arse eating paella and playing stupid games in the media.Originally posted by PeteBest View PostArsenal never deserved to win either. It's a bit harsh to criticise Benitez in a game like this. We're low on confidence and need luck.

Nice strawman there.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostYou have to ask the question though who would you rather lose as a result of us not getting in the CL, Gerrard and torres or Rafa?
