Well our season is pretty much over so maybe rafa should grow some balls and drop the under performing players and show a bit of faith in the younger players such as kely, El Zhar and Pacheco. They cant do any worse. After all it could save him his job in the end. Also bring back Nemeth from his loan spell.

I think he should go with a team like this midweek (fitness depending):

We have the worst defence in the league. By a mile. We concede an obscene amount of goals even if the opposition creates very little opportunities and even though we usually enjoy most of the possession. Today it was Johnson but every time it's someone else. We are mentally the softest and most pathetic team in the league. A coincidence or bad luck can't go on forever. It's worse that we seem to have raised our game against our two biggest rivals which is a testament of a weak, unmotivated team that needs a "big game" to show up.

Gerrard, also, with one of the most disgraceful games I've ever seen him play to cap the worst season of his career.

Dont get me wrong i am sticking with Rafa, this season is **** the last glimmer of hope went out tonight, we are not in a tough fight for 4th and nothing else matters. Hope fully we can come out of it stronger at the other end .. but the ****ing players have to take some of the blame also .. the team sheet was fine, the subs were excellent .. the perfomance was not there .. nothing going forward, little penitration and way too much ****ing long balls aimlessly wacked up pitch

Agree with you Nicey... just nothing seemed to click on the pitch as well... IMO its all very well to blame Rafa... but I thought the team selection was right.. Aqua will start to start matches (IMO) but this season is down the toilet for the title...

Me. I'd be over the (****ing) moon if we grab some silverware (Europa Cup or FA Cup) and scrape home in 4th. But its going to be tough... yesterdays results though should show everyone that Villa, Citeh and Spurs can take points off Arse, Chav and Manure... But the team need to start clicking on the pitch.. too many stray passes... passes being played to players not making the right runs or players ready for the ball to be played into them only for the ball passer to make the wrong bloody pass!!

Frustrating... but back to my original post... stick together thru thick and thin.... All I want for Christmas is a decent run through the festive season... 3 Points on Wednesday is the minimum requirement...

go and have a look at liverpools accounts and the figure being banded around for rafas contract pay off and then propose an alternative

Given the economics involved the only way I can see Rafa going is if he walks.

I think issue that most are overlooking here is that most reaction on here is based on the form over the season so far, not this one result.

Objectively, yes we were unlucky today. BUT, that isn't acceptable. This is Liverpool Football Club and we were all brought up on success, determination and pride. I'm not seeing a lot of that at the moment.

Can't believe so many call it luck - has **** all to do with it - we where just simply not good enough, and johnsons personal errors cost us dearly in a game where arsenal where just about as poor as us!
