Stick all your frustrations where the sun don't shine. We're bigger than 4 or 5 results not going our way.

Lads - when i seen how we came out of the traps today, and how we played in the 1st half, it was heartening to say the least..........

For me, the most disappointing thing was our non-reaction to the OG, we never even put Aluminia under pressure once?

WTF? And, we had Stevie and Nando on the pitch, so no excuses there then..

Something stinks here, it was galling to watch that 2nd half performance today.

      Something radical needs to happen.

But, on the flip side, we are still well capable of finishing at least third. But that is because the other teams around us are equally capable of producing some shocking performances.

Dark days indeed..........just hope there is some light ahead.......

Not just 4 or 5 though is it?
From a points perspective we are a mid table team. We are out of the CL, unseeded in the Euro L and out of the Carling.

It's been like this for how many years though?

Still, we were not born with a god given right to win every trophy. Ask the players why they haven't performed this year. Maybe they can't be arsed playing for those so called supporters any more.

            I wouldn't to be honest.

Now it seems that everyone have had their go at Rafa - but nobody has put a finger to Sammy Lees role - or the others in the training and coaching team. We lost Alonso and Arbeloa in the summer, but did someone from the backroom staff go? As someone earlier pointed out - Rafa is not the only one working on the team - and he has some duties, which goes on about tactics, teamsheet, contact to poss. transfers, boardmeetings etc. - and there is a staff meant to be on first hand with the players. Among them also Sammy Lee - who did well last season, but has been nowhere to see this season (except from the first game at Tottenham).

Today I only had the option to follow 2nd. half of 2nd. half - and I was shocked about the lack of ability to penetrate the Arsenal defence. There were attempts to flickons, there were attempts over the wings - but nothing gave way. They had the option to sit deep with 9 men - knowing how desperate we were to score. They also knew that they could put pressure on our defence ond a few times they covered each of our defenders when we tried to play the ball out of defence. So Wenger did make them react - and made them use our weaknesses as he spoke loud in the break.

I agree that S. Gerrard seems to be off his peak - just like Carra. Maybe Gerrard could use a few weeks back in the central position - with permision to go forward - instead of being second striker. I find him to far forward in that position, as his powerplay somehow is lost up there. His energy releases him from midfielders - but only ½ the time from defenders - so his ability is not used optimal there.

But still - it is OUR TEAM - and we still sing YNWA!!!

There's more to a manager than just being a 'motivator', which seeing from some posts I've read on here, is the thing lacking with Rafa.

We're in a rut and to me it's down to confidence and the sheer pressure that this ridiculous run is putting on the players. They should be strong enough to withstand it. Maybe Torres and Gerrard are not that good ... After all, Torres missed a sitter which would have sealed the game today. It's all Rafa's fault though.

they came out in the second half and put us under a bit of pressure and we conceded an unlucky goal and fell apart for the next 30 mins. They are saying they played well, but really we just distentegrated until the last 10 mins. Very depressing and indicative of how low morale is.

The result has put them back in the chase, but the performance didn't - I hope it does gove them a lift as I'd rather they won it than Scum or Scumski.

Pity that my in laws who are staying are goonies.

I know, I agree, just pointing out that having only had 4 or 5 bad results is long way back.

Well they should be ****ing arsed to play for their employers (and that's what LFC is to most of them)

Therein lies most of the problems here, with the obvious exceptions, most of them do not give a flying **** about Liverpool......

I don't honestly think that some of the players will be tossing and turning iin their bed tonight worrying and analysing about they can turn the corner and make our club great again.

Granted, in training and on the pitch, they will do their best, but then they can easily switch off as they drive their sports car out of Melwood after training.

Whilst people like us get genuinely depressed as the week wears on.

                      **** Sake.........

Our supporters aren't really inspiring though are they? Apart from the impressive YNWA at the start of the match, they quickly got into hiding when things started to go wrong.

Everyone of us couldn't give a rats arse working for 'uninspiring' employers I assume. Same could be said of the players.

As I said, it's easy to blame Rafa and everyone else under the sun, as the supporters are always right.
