To be fair we played really well most of the game. Injury time was ugly though!

Not a great performance by any stretch and again for much of the game we were disjointed and lacking cohesion - which with the run of results we're on is to be expected I guess.

Highlights: Ngog, and actually the Kuyt/Ngog tandem at times looked nice. Agger decent performance. Great to see Torres get a goal again.

Lowlights: ****ty defending again, lack of flair across the pitch, Mascherano thinking he's Xabi Alonso, Carragher at Right Back, and a Gerrard woefully off the pace.

Still it's 3 points in the bag - please use this as a platform for better performances.

I must have dreamed all that crisp one touch passing in the final third then, the overlapping runs, the fluidity...**** me, bring back the old Chewbacca, this ones a dud.

It wasn't great but there were encouraging signs and we won. You don't moan when you win, especially in our situation. Our profligacy in front of goal is worrying but missing chances is better than not creating any.

We're still a ****ing soft touch at the back though. Soft-centred and faint hearted.
