One of our biggest failings this season has been our inability to build on a 1-0 lead. Too often we have dropped back and let the opposition come back at us. I got really nervy when Rafa brought on Lucas at 1-0 and I thought **** here we go again were gona sit deep. Thankfully though he quickly brought on Torres too.

We need to be positive. The best form of defence is attack. If we are so shaky at the back then we need to go out and outscore the opposition.

Nah, it was because he was about to bring on Torres and push Gerrard forward, moving to a 4-2-3-1.

Marky just for the record, and for the new faces Out' here, I'd like to point Out' that ur negative attitude towards all things LFC and especially your hounding of Insua is down to you being a gooner first and foremost.

Acceptable when you weren't being such a negative WUM

Seriously 21? I thought someone said you were 15- which made all of your "soft lad" suite of posts all the more amusing.

So is there any word on why Aquilani didn't start? He's going to get itchy feet soon.

In hindsight I presume they were being cautious with Torres but I was pretty annoyed when I saw the team. I can only imagine the reaction if we hadn't won.

The man's been fit for weeks and there's a world cup around the corner. I'm not a drama queen but it doesn't take a ****ing rocket scientist to come up with the idea that he's not going to be happy sat on the bench every game.

For some reason, that impression stuck with me these last 6 years...

He is been eased into the first team, hes available for selection, he has not really had a full competitive game yet and he has to prove his worth like everyone else. I am not Mystic Meg but i am guessing we will be seeing a lot more over him in the coming weeks and perhaps he may be a started every week in the New Year, Rafa is protecting the player and been quite clever if you ask me .. best ease him into a winning side

Is the only thing we should be concerned with at the moment.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

                                I hope so

But with 70 minutes against Fiorentina and 30ish against Arsenal, a home game against Wigan would have been ideal.

I was expecting to see him start against Arsenal, if he doesn't start the next one I'll be pissed off because we've been crying out for something different and we've got £20m worth of player sat on the bench looking bemused.
