the bloke is poetry in motion, that run he did that was slightly offside, the way he curved his run.
He is a special special player. You can compare him and Drogba all you want but 35 goals in 37 home games is it?
thats taking the piss_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

Kin annoys me when Chelsea are playing and everyone forgets Torres exists...all this ****e about Drogba being the best centre-forward in the world. Balls. Yes he's very good when he concentrates on playing instead of acting, almost unplayable, but just take a minute to compare their goalscoring records FFS, it's a no-contest. Fernando is the best striker in the world.Originally posted by red g View Postthe bloke is poetry in motion, that run he did that was slightly offside, the way he curved his run.

nobody and i mean nobody scores goals like Torres.
on pure striking ability Torres is streets ahead, Drogba may bring more people into the game, Rooney may defend better
but when ball comes to feet not a player like him in the world_____________________________________

There is a difference in those two positions in my mind...Drogba plays the deep role better than anybody, with the sheer muscle to bulldoze aside any defender...Torres is by far the more clinical tho...them two in a partnership would be amazing.

also the other difference is one is a horrible horrible man who is hated by everyone and the other one turns hetoro's to homo'sOriginally posted by Scratch View PostThere is a difference in those two positions in my mind...Drogba plays the deep role better than anybody, with the sheer muscle to bulldoze aside any defender...Torres is by far the more clinical tho...them two in a partnership would be amazing._____________________________________

A modern day Dalglish would be far too oldOriginally posted by Molby View PostQuick one........for a bit of fun, who would you rather have?
A modern day Dalglish or Nando?
Tough one !!
On a side note Torres goal record is all the more amazing because he don't even take free kicks or penalties

For the current team I'd go with Torres as if you take him out we lack goals, Torres has a better goals to game ratio than Dalglish (partly because of the different roles in the team), plus I'd say Gerrard in his current role is as close as you'd get to a modern day Dalglish.Originally posted by Molby View PostQuick one........for a bit of fun, who would you rather have?

Tough one !!The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
