He would be no success under any manager/system in PL.

He's just not suitable for this league. It's too physical for him, he cannot think on a fly, not a goal threat, cannot really take his man and so on.

    Simply he needs to go.

More good news for Anderlcht fans, Van Holsbeeck wants to bring Milan Jovanovic to Brussels (to be fair he has big reputation here). #lfc

        Fingers crossed this happens though
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Liverpool struggle to pay off flop Jovanovic with Serb seeking £2.5m to quit

Jova wants 2.5 mil to leave us. Let him rot in the reserves I say
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs, we entered into a contract with him. If we want to terminate the contract and disadvantage him then he's got every right to ask for some form of compensation.

Would you expect him to say ok LFC you're a nice club I will forego the income we've agreed you'll pay me because I know you no longer want me?

We entered into a contract yes, but it was on the proviso that he was actually good

In seriousness, of course he's entitled to the contract or compensation but he's hardly hard up and let's be honest, some players have more pride than to sit on their arse taking money. Doesnt he want to play football FFS?

He doesn't strike me as someone who would sit on the bench and collect paycheques but it also wouldn't surprise me if he thinks healthy and game fit he could make it back into the rotation.

The key is for Kenny to tell him that he is not part of his plans (cannot see how he could be) right away so he and us can start looking for a new club and break this "match made in heaven" as quickly and as civil as possible.

Mate I know that but 2.5 mil? get real! Why should he get a golden handshake and be able to get paid by another Club? Give him 500K to 1 mil or so and off you go IMO.

It just says that money is more important to him than playing regular first team football.

I cannot see him being around next season no matter what. Pay out or no pay out, he will be kicking ball somewhere else.

He'll probably go out on loan.

Bugger that. We've already shelled out a small fortune for him to sit on his arse. i accept it's not his fault but, in equal measure, I don't care and neither should we.

He wants to play he takes the cut. Otherwise he gets his head down and proves his worth Old Skool stylee
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

lol. That's so easy to say, but in practice its utterly ridiculous and unrealistic. If anyone here claims that in his position they'd give up on £2m just to get to play a bit of club footy in Belgium next season I'll call them a liar.

The guy has a contract, agreeing to pay him probably more in 3 years than he's earned in the entire rest of his career combined. Its not his fault we offerend him such a crazy deal. He's what, 29, so coming towards the end of his career, and if he moves like we want him to he'll probably be taking a massive pay cut. Like to the amount of about £2.5m over a couple of years. Not to mention that we'd probably be getting a transfer fee for him, even if not a huge one. So how can anyone blame him in the slightest for wanting the difference?
