Quite positive...
3 points.
Clean sheet.
Our fullbacks were impressive going forward.
Aquilani finally started (never thought I'd see the day!), and looked good.
Lucas is becoming more confident with each game.
Pacheco & Spearing got a run out.
Only grumbles are that I don't know why Kuyt came on, Gerrard & Torres should've probably gone off, and our set pieces are just as bad as ever.

that was impressively few comments on today's game!
Didn't have the possibility to watch due to me getting ****faced in snaps, beer and french alcohol of a diverse kind!!!
But I'm very pleased to get home to a win, and hope Gerrard is getting back in form with a goal today!
Benny still proving to be a very important part of our season - somewhat one of Rafa's best buys...
The nil will get us some confidence and I think we will get through the holiday fixtures fairly well. We need to keep up the tempo to be in fourth but currently I'm confident on it.
How do people rate the game? And why didn't wolves throw in their second team, isn't that the norm?

I like to hope we are attempting to not give away free kick in the final third against ****e teams. A bit of a worry if true for the Villa game as they have very good wingers.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View PostAnybody else notice that johnson won't tackle in our third?
Seems like he let their wide players carry the ball past him all day.
But then he would get stuck in further up the pitch.

He just refused to stick the boot in, and showed them the outside, and when they took him on, he got turned and never made up the ground. Pretty worrying.
I had the same thought about conceding free kicks, but instead he was just letting them get free crosses in.
I actually though they should have hauled him and torres off, they both looked off the pace.dave of mutilation

Very good effort but you forgot to capitalise the T for (T)orres there.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View PostHe just refused to stick the boot in, and showed them the outside, and when they took him on, he got turned and never made up the ground. Pretty worrying.

I agree with your post though, very well spotted.

How can anyone post from a Blackberry?Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View PostThat's just my blackberry auto capitalizing.
I do know how to capitalize, I've been working in the writing center at a university, where I actually use it quite well. Stylized writing, not poor.
Erm....
