Bumped into Redknapp in the food section of M&S London Colney. He kept eyeing up my ex every time we walked past him which got a bit too much when it was every bloody aisle. Came across as a bit of an arrogant **** tbh.

According to this thread Redknapp is a womanising, Spurs-supporting sell-out cunt.

    It's embarrassing.

Maybe he is genuinely a nice guy but there's something not right about him.

I've met both of them at seperate times, never at the same time though. True story.

I've also met Jamie Redknapp. I was 14 and had a broken arm. He signed my cast and was a generally top bloke.

I have no beef with him following Spurs, If my old fella managed a team I'd support him 100%. I can't stand the affiliation he has with the Chav's and his bland punditry. You may as well get a fit bird reading a script do his spot.

I met him at the bolton v spurs game last season (sat behind him in the directors box, yes thats a blatent brag there lol) once he heard we were scousers he was chatting away with us and taking the mickey out of Lennon's finishing. He was a really nice down to earth bloke.

I don't watch Sky so I'v no idea what he's like as a pundit but as a player....I don't think he had the right mentality. He had skill but he wasn't exactly Platini. How often did he have the ball with plenty of space in front of him and it just wouldn't occur to him to run into it? He didn't have the drive and the aggression to make the most of the talent that he had. I suppose the same applies to the team as a whole at that time...talented but not ruthless.

Dont have any time for him tbh. An ex-player who thinks that because he wore the red shirt for a few years, he has a license to insult the club and call it "insight"
