That's not the same article at all.

The bollox at the top of this thread implied that any money raised now would not be available now or in the summer.

Barrett just says that the money won't be available now, which makes sense.

We need to wait and see, I honestly cant see Rafa wanting to spend the money in January unless he had a key player targeted.

It makes a lot more sense to wait until the Summer when we will get more bang for our buck and to be honest as business people G & H will want to see where we finish in the league before handing Rafa more cash to spend. Makes sense imo.

It shouldnt be a case of either now or summer for these amounts. It is obvious the squad is struggling to get us that vital 4th place & needs some serious freshening up. If we keep the money till the summer, what price the Yanks not releasing much else to go with it at that time.

zero net spend. ****ing hell I wish they'd just give rafa £10 to spend on some pirate porn and then we'd never have to hear this net spend bollocks. we bought in two expensive signings and sold two players that wanted to leave. that is good business, but I guess if we'd spent £28m on johnson instead of the £17m folk would be happier? If we sold 10 of the reserve team for £10m and rafa spent the £10m on one player that would be net but that still not enough?
