He was always a bit stodgy and slow looking to me, but IIRC some on here were even comparing him to Torres at that time.

He did have a similar build to Suarez. He used to finish the ball jut like Torres used to. When youth players in our past have been compared to great players, they have inevitably gone on to fail -this was true of LDV. Ironically, Raheem Sterling has not been compared to any player and neither has Ngoo . It's hard not to say Ngoo without putting a after his name, Ngoo
