There was a moment when our flying right wing, Kuyt and Carragher, were joined by Lucas for what was the most painful 'triangle' I have ever seen. All standing still, prodding little passes to each other, before one of them gave it away, obviously. It's soul destroying.
It's infuriating isn't it and when coupled with our woeful defending this season it makes us a bit of a soft touch to play against.

How many other sides are going to make Jobi McAnuff look like a top class winger this season?

After the equaliser, I decided finishing MW2 would make me feel somewhat better. Depressing stuff, it has been as of late.

Has no one noticed its all gone down hill since Raffa took total control of the whole club, academy, fired all the old staff ,whats happened to the LIVERPOOL WAY , i know clubs need shake ups and new ideas but something drastic has gone wrong somewere its the body language of the players you see them at mellwood and every ones happy when they are on the pitch it looks like they have had a dust up in the dressing rooms,im not goingto slag Raffa off because theres more than him at the club, but someones got to answer, is it the owners or are we useing this as an excuse for the players,do we need to buy is that why were crap because the only differance from last year when we nearly won the title was alonso and i know he was not the one man army, something is going on behind the scenes and i think it may come out soon any way forget the FA cup lets push for the 4th spot i think we can do it,we have got to do it

it's the big question. as gilesy says there comes a time for a manager when you have nothing else to say. you've said everything you're going to, your ideas are clear but........the players don't believe in it any longer.

                    4 points for me:

                    1. we started well but when it wasn't working we lost heart and reading drove on. it may have coincided with torres going off last night but it seems to be our way at the moment and it suggests the players reach a "**** this" point during each match.

                    2. we played really well for the first 15-20 mins of the second half when SG was gone. aquilani ran the match for those 15 mins. why?

                    3. for a team built on defense, why can't we defend? at least 4 crosses from the right last night were appalingly dealt with by both agger and carra and than agger and skrtel for their winner. why? (going to ignore insua's role in these crosses for now)

                    4. why do we create so few chances to score, especially when chasing a game? other teams can be guaranteed a couple of last-minute corners against us. we just peter out. we're such a ****in soft touch. why?

i really fear that the players no longer believe in rafa.

it really does seem to me that rafa's overly technical approach has stopped paying off.

answer to the question for me is yes, rafa has lost the dressing room. you must wonder what the good players think being sent out with pretty negative tactics and distinctly average players. if i was playing for the club right now i'd be questioning rafa's role at the club.

as a fan will suppport rafa and the team for however long he is in charge but if i was owner / chariman i'd be moving heaven and earth to get jose mourinho in as gaffer.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I give RB until the end of the season. If we don't get into the top 4 then he should resign. Then, the new man (Hodgson, Hiddink perhaps).

Inter are after SG for £40m apparently. I'd take that at his age. On top of that, I'd flog:

                        Kuyt £8m - headless
                        Johnson £10m - useless at defending/injury prone
                        Aquilaini £8m - too weak
                        Riera £5m - too injured
                        Ngog £2m - too poor
                        Babel £8m - disinterested
                        Mascherano £25m - overrated
                        Skrtel £5m - a weak link
                        Benayoun - £8m - overrated

Which'd be £119m to rebuild, with the board throwing in another £50m. That's get us c. 8 £20m players. At least, then, we'd clear some of the deadwood and start again. Thank God Utd are dreadful too (albeit 2nd). Spurs have a strike force of Pavlyuchenko, Keane, Defoe, Crouch - compare that to us. We need a complete rebuild. Alec Ferguson is not afraid to make wholesale changes of this ilk. I don't think Benitez is a strong as that.

Problem with Rafa is he thinks half those players you listed are pure gold.

Unfortunatley Rafa swapped Babel & Kuyt after 25mins 2nd half & the impetus went

                            3. for a team built on defense, why can't we defend? at least 4 crosses from the right last night were appalingly dealt with by both agger and carra and than agger and skrtel for their winner. why? (going to ignore insua's role in these crosses for now). The full backs are the problem, it shows how much we have missed Arbeola & Aurrelio this season

To be fair he has saved rafa's bacon on about twenty occasions and is probably why rafa is still our manager.
And his job has a liverpool player and captain is what?..........He is a brilliant footballer and one of the best so winning games with a flash of brilliance is his job for the club ,himself and the fans ,and not just to save Rafa's job, he is being paid very very well too,

IMO if someone offered us £40m we should take it his attitude stinks his body language tells it all and Carra is just as bad,IMO with them two in the dressing room it's no wonder Rafa has lost it.

Thanks for the memory guy's but if you cant be arsed to fight for the club/shirt then **** off , no player is bigger than that BIRD
