Of course I want us to finish fourth, but I believe the youth system Rafa is building will come good, and potential new signings like Chamack and Turan sounds promising (if we can pull it off). This combined with a season where our key players stay injury free for most parts would make us see what we really can do.

Personally I would but I don't think Gerrard and Carra will be involved by that stage.

They ain't going though ........why have clubs like Qpr,Arsenal had new investors when they could have bought lfc becuase them 2 yanks won't sell ....and they value the club too high therefore turning investors away

So in the real world we can't believe in our youth setup? Nor hope for potential new signings? Then I'd rather live in some fantasy world tbh.

Till we know either way we'll just have to carry on as we are, but believe me, investment is the key, no investment means that finishing in europe this season would only delay the inevitable, we WILL be overtaken, sure we'll get top 4 now and then, but we won't dominate that position any more, not with the funding we have now for players and this debt, not even if we make europe this season, the debt is crippling us.

Whats the worst that can happen?we dont finish forth,then we push on and come back next season like a giant club we are,ive got no blame for Raffa,only on some of his buys,thats if they were his!.The team needs a shake up but i just think that there is so much crap going on with the club no one can think straight,if theres no money in the club he cant buy players,hes doing the best he can with what hes got.It was not so long back when we were pushing for the title this guy was god,and now everyones slaging him well most people.Give him a chance and lets see what he can do,if were mid table next season then he will have to go,but if hes still not getting the funding how can he be blamed.You cant race a formula 1 team like Ferrari with mr bean and jerry kyle behind the wheel,but if you cant pay for button or schumey how long you going to last.If he had the millions like city and united then we would probally have two squads but we aint and things wont change over night give the guy time

I really dont think at this point we'll get 4th place this year, regardless of our manager.

Manchester City and Aston Villa are both on better form and both have better squads than us, and arguably better managers (although the jury is still out on Mancini in the premiership i guess)

No.

UEFA Cup/Europa League will give then winner of the competition automatic qualification into the group stage of the Europa League regardless of league position in their respective country. It has no barring Champions League qualification.

I've said all along, that if missing on the CL for ONE season meant the cunts at the top would do one, and we got proper owners, i'd take that.
