I quite like Degen, he gets stuck in, quite skillful and deceptively quick. He reminds me a lot of Heggem, not really a fullback and not really a winger.Originally posted by saj View PostI think Degen has been outstanding. He isn't even running at full pace and yet they can't keep up with him!

Mascherano needs to calm the **** down otherwise he's in for another early bath.
Apart from that i'm very happy with the first half display."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

That's a fair assessment, though from what little I've seen on Degen I do think Heggem was better.
Degen is bloody fast though. He's given Bale, Dawson and King a few yards head start on a number of occasions and caught up with them.
Though King has no knees.

Richard Keys complaining Reina held onto the ball for more than 6 secs. He has to critisise us for something

He ust does my head in because he's always got to find something to critisise us for no matter how small.Originally posted by Lee View PostHe's a ballbag.
Possibly the worst pundit on TV I think.
It's embarrassingThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yup. He always makes a smarmy comment, smirks and looks for whoever is in the studio to back him up.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostHe ust does my head in because he's always got to find something to critisise us for no matter how small.

Arsenal goal: I just cannot get away from controversy - and this goal is mired in it. William Gallas is lucky not to be shown a red card for a terrible tackle on Mark Davies, referee Alan Wiley waves play on and eventually the ball falls to Cesc Fabregas, who wriggles past a couple of challenges on the edge of the Bolton box and fires through the legs of Jussi Jaaskelainen from an angle on the right. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
