Minutes from Christian Purslow and SOS Meeting

There's very little credibility around any area of the club at the moment. We need a miracle to get us anywhere near a stable, decent state. We need a richer Randy Lerner type character to come in if we can't be fan owned. Problem is that there aren't many like him around and that people like that don't negotiate with people like our current owners. It would be nice just to concentrate on the football sometime in the future.

Why does anyone give SOS the time of day? I'm no fan of G & H, but the bullying tactics that SOS use are never going to be an answer to any problems the club faces. They don't represent me or my love for this institution!

I've known a few of them for a long time and they're all absolute die hards. I for one applaud them for getting off their collective arse and having a go at getting rid of the Carpetbaggers whatever it takes. I also think the fact that they're local lads and most of them are old enough to have seen happier times at LFC means the club means more to them than it does the average OTT, hence their general lack of support on this board. Controversial view I know but thats what I think.

Thanks Matt, I agree totally. The club is followed worldwide, and I'm sure there are plenty of Thais, South Africans, and Americans, and many other nationalities, who share the same love for the club. Some wake up at 2:00 am, just to watch our club. Anfield may be too far away for many, but every supporter is there in spirit. The minority should never be the voice of the majority.

Agree mate i'm a scouser and am proud that our club has such great support from other parts of the country and the world. Weather your scouse, Brum, cockney or indian a red is a red IMO!

CP is no buffoon, however SOS are complete buffoons, by agreeing to the initial meetings he's appeased a section of the fans who follow them and then by reeling SOS in to this he's now got a valid reason not to meet with them in future, and he's alienated them further from people like myself who disagreed with them from the start, nice one CP, I like the cut of your jib
