    Aye no surprises.

Would everyone agree that anything less than winning it would be disappointing?

Not when you're Liverpool, we've won **** all in 4 years(nearly) so any old trophy will do.

It's a bit like when you're going through a dry spell with the ladies - if some *****r comes along you be happy to smash it just to end the drought.

I thought there was a rule that allowed one player who had played in Europe for a different club to be added to the european list?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I thought that if a player playes in UEFA before Christmas he can play in CL afterwards, so would imagine it's vise versa.

I can only guess it's because Atletico are also in the UEFA cup with us.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not really. Losing a losers tournament means the losses cancel each out out so you end up a winner. It's a double negative.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

We don't have to win it at the moment, we have to win it in May
