i also seem to remember rafa saying that by the time he would have got back to spain the funeral would have taken place.Originally posted by Fan65 View Post
Bringing Rafa's father's death into it was again not fair, We all handle grief in our own way to say Rafa is a football obsessive and that's why he stayed in Japan was extremely presumptious and rude even though you put a rider on it to excuse yourself for saying it.
Stick to criticising Rafa's team selections and tactics and leave his personal life out of it
who's arsed?

I noticed this snippet in the Times yesterday.
As in Saturday’s draw at the City of Manchester Stadium in the FA Cup fifth round, which forced a replay that means the sides are facing each other three times in 11 days, City were without Craig Bellamy, who has a groin injury, and Carlos Tévez, expected back on Friday after being given leave to be at the birth of his child in Argentina. Wayne Bridge was dropped to the bench.

big patrick gets the outcome of his charges today. a no brainer to see he'll be found guilty and as such will be banned for us, stoke and chelsea.Originally posted by PC Plod View Post2 days, reckon he'll be reet for the bench at least.
Is Viera banned? Otherwise, they'll field 3 defensive midfielders & we'll field 2 plus our defensive striker. Itll be like table football!!!People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Cynics might say that the only surprise is that it has taken this long, but it was reported last night that Craig Bellamy, had been involved in a furious row with Roberto Mancini. The Manchester City manager was said to have screamed at his fiery striker, telling him to stay away from the club for three months.
According to reports, the pair exchanged heated words at the club’s training ground at Carrington on Wednesday after Bellamy refused a request to do extra training with one of Mancini’s Italian staff the next day.
Mancini was incensed by the player’s reaction, and the questioning of his judgment, and reports of the incident have the Italian bellowing: “I want you to leave now — and don’t come back for three months.”
The £14 million Wales forward, who joined City in January last year, argued that only he and the sports science staff knew the correct way to treat his injured right knee.
Bellamy is said to have stormed off and was contacted at home by Garry Cook, the City chief executive, and Brian Marwood, the club’s football administrator. They advised him to return and apologise to Mancini, but Bellamy is said to have stood firm.

Ah right! agree he has been their best player this season so if true then this is great new but if its not true then it wouldn't be the first time journo's have reported stuff like this about Bellamy. It seems to be the same stories all the time and usually untrue.
I have heard a before though that the City players aren't all that keen on Mancini's training. Personally if true then I think Bellamy has a point, he certainly knows better than Mancini on how to manage his injury as he's managed to stay injury free for quite a while now. Redknapp seems to let King manage his knee injury and that seems to work fine for them
