We've now not scored in our last 3 away games (Wolves, Arsenal and Man City), and we've only scored 10 goals in our last 10 games. We need Torres to get back scoring asap!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's soul destroying watching us at the mo. OK result tho, but it really aint fun to watch.

I wish Spurs would **** off.

At least we see goals and passion in our recent Chelsea & United games, so that's not much of a comparision at all really.

It's not the result but the fact we offered nothing attack wise again. We have enough in that team to create chances but we have not. I think rafa is under so much pressure that he is setting the team up not to lose rather than go for the win.

I don't think Stevie is suited to that position unless he's playing off Torres, who he has a great understanding with.

Maybe it says more about our other strikers than Stevie but he's never that effective in that position when Torres is out.

Compared to everyone else out there, he was like Cruyff, Souness and Zico rolled into one.

But it hasn't worked for most of this season, hasn't exactly clicked even with Torres in front of him. It was an approach that worked well with Alonso behind Gerrard and players hugging the touch line.

Stevie in that position is absolutely fine, after all he has scored a hell of a lot of goals from there but he also scored a lot of goals from the right and I wonder if he would be better putting him out there and let Aquilani play behind the striker.

Aquilani may not be playing out of his skin but one thing I have noticed is that he always seems to be in space which most of the rest of the team seem unable to do.

Last few yes, but commonly they are pretty poor affairs. Especially when both teams are defending well.

Skrtel was our MOTM in my opinion.

Mascher was his usual self - some good tackles and positional play balanced by wank passing. He was lucky not to get a second yellow for his tackle on Barry near the end.

Really not convinced it works without Alonso- it certainy doesnt without Torres.

That must have been the most incompenent performance from referee ever.
