Doofus had every opportunity to make it at lfc had he had either the talent or the application.

Playing at Fat Sam's plodders is hardly playing at "the top level" is it?
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Maybe Rafa doesn't want to start him because of the Spain game in midweek, if he starts for us Spain might say "why cant he start for us?".
I wonder why national teams are so selfish and short sighted with players returning from injury.

Back four (or five) picks itself today.

What's up with Riera at the moment? Been on the bench recently and then nowhere to be seen in the week - is he injured or just out of favour??

No idea who Rafa will pick in midfield & up top. Torres and Aquilani to start? Maxi, Benayoun or Babel on the left? Babel up top? Ngog up top?

          Think we'll do 'em 3-0

I'll be a bit annoyed if Maxi starts, he's shown nothing yet and doesn't deserve it. And I didn't think I'd be saying this any time soon, but Babel deserves to start again. If he's left out then he'd have every right to be pissed off with Rafa.

I don't see any reason not to give Maxi a run out at home against a mid table side, he's still adapting to the league.

True that the only way he can find some form is by playing, but we can't afford passengers right now and I'd leave him out personally.

Rafa will lose any leverage he has if Torres starts today. I'm all for the cotton wool approach for another week or two.

Babel also deserves another start, would consider putting him on the right with Dirk up top.

Hope the streams are ok today, they could suffer because of the Cup Final.

Seems to be a lot on http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?ma...63&part=sports though.

I think it's the cold weather. The same thing happened last season kind of went in to the shadows around christmas time but was doing really well in the run in. Hopefully he turns that corner very soon!
