For the first time I'm sad to say I 100% agree with this, had my doubts and hoped that Rafa would turn it around but it's just not going to happen, is it?

Most of our players haven't got a backbone - to take responsibility. Too easy to pass it sideways or backwards. Bunch of ****ing cowards.

Well done Wigan. Your first ever win against a team and manager that have become an embarrassment to the great Liverpool name.

Rafa's completely lost the plot. I don't even know what the hell he's telling the players. This is the worst football I've ever seen a Liverpool side play, maybe my memory of Houllier is becoming foggy but at least Houllier knew how to play the long ball counter attacking game! We don't play anything.

rafa has given up any footballing principles to try and scrap out any victory possible and its backfired horrendously.

Sadly a great post. Spot on, I feel exactly the same way.

It doesnt look like it mate. I hoped the performances against Stoke, Villa etc were the start of grinding some results out then playing better football once confidence is up, but then we do stuff like this.

Can't really think or be bothered to type much, so I'll copy what I put in the match thread.

First time in 37 games that Wigan have taken three points against a top four club. Well, a supposed top four club.

                        Reading was an unbelievable low.

Tonight. I can't even describe how low this is. I really can't.

                        I really don't

That's it Raff, thanks for 2005, but you can **** off now.

It thats your 5 year plan you can shove it, what a ****ing joke we were tonight, another piss poor performance against a **** side, and Raffa hiding in the tunnel at the end.....complete joke, ashamed to be a Liverpool fan after that tonight.

Yes, the tie is over, but we have to play them anyway."

The dressing room has to be lost.

How these players can put in a 'performance' like this is beyond me. I'm absolutely gutted.

To be fair to him, about 89/90 minutes he got up and made forward gestures with his hands.

The only person i want in to take over is Jose. Only he can transform us as the guy is a born winner and knows how to put the right mentality in the players! I cant see anyone else out there that can do the job. We need to put out all the stops and get him in.
