Poor passing, Poor finishing, Poor tactics....just plain poor. The whole lot should be ashamed with the exception of Kyrgiakos and Reina.

I'm not really bothered that we don't play like the Arse but I am bothered with exactly what you put about lack of passing ability, control, dribbling, pass and move and the biggest one that you forgot, lack of playing as a TEAM!Originally posted by ric.williams View Posti think what hurts the most is we playful awful football. most of our passes are poor, many of our players struggle to control the ball, no one dribbles with it, pass and move is none existent. i'll stop there for now

Just strolls about offering nothing, doing nothing. Doesn't put a shift in to track back and doesn't put a shift in to break forward.
Shocking purchase.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
Curtis Julian Jones Fanclub #1

He doesn't even ****ing show for the ball. There were occasions when Carragher, Kyrgiakos and Johnson had possession and were looking for help, and Aquilani should have been dropping into the space demanding the ball, but he just drifted forward into nothing positions, trotting around not even looking for space.Originally posted by Rich View Post

Well for the first time tonight ( I think ) I have turned on Rafa. I'm willing to accept that we don't have much money and can't afford Aguero etc. but all of those players should be able to pass a football. But for some reason we have a team where not a single one of them appears able to pass without putting possession at risk, unless they're passing it sideways or backwards, and **** me even that is a risk these days.
There's only one place the buck can stop now. There's no excuses for that sort of football.
I wouldn't even be that upset if Rafa left and Gerrard and Torres followed him. At least we'd get some money and a fresh start. I love Torres, but I've never taken to Gerrard. No passion tonight either I guess because there's no glory at stake. The only thing we have of any worth is Torres, but the longer he plays in this team the more money we'll lose.
As for the rest, I wouldn't be distressed if they all signed for Everton.Really?

To be honest, right now I couldn't give a f*** who our manager was, watching Liverpool play this season has been a hollow, laborious, and most of the time frustrating experience. Even our wins have been mere sugar rushes that create a short-term distraction from the sheer joylessness of our playing style.
If we just had someone who could inspire our players (who as internationals DO have the ability to play well) to relax, enjoy themselves and play football, we'd soon regain the respect and admiration of our peers.
