I dont think rafa will go anywhere at the end of the season. When we dont finish in the top 4, the board wont get rid of him because they believe that he is the right man for the job and that this season is a blip, and secondly that the time and resources invested into the youth system might actually pay dividends and rafa is the man at the forefront of the new changes.

Because of the above, I dont think that gerrard will be here next season as I dont think he believes in what rafas doing.

If gerrard goes then im certain torres will probably leave too because after gerrard there isnt anyone anywhere near his playing level. Why would he want to stay and be surrounded by **** like kuyt and lucas ? The simple answer is that he wont and he will be off too.

If those two go then other 'worldies' like masher and even reina might start asking questions of themselves.

The outcome that I believe to be likely is that gerrard, torres and masher will be off in the summer and rafa will be handed a large transfer kitty of well over £100m.

But the question is how many of us would want to hand rafa a transfer kitty of £100m + given that his judgement on players like keane and aquilani and babel has been very suspect ?
