Thanjk you.

Fed up hearing about Maureen now...like he's some god of football. ******.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Respectfully do one mate, i'm not breaking rules here, it's a thread about a potential new manager and people are discussing it. You dont seem to mind other people repeating their dislike of JM, funny that. And you've been rehashing the same 'Rafa is god, i love him' points for nearly 38k posts.
Why don't we talk about who'll replace Torres when he leave's, start a new thread, because it's about as relevant as discussing who should be our NEW manger when we have one in place, and one that needs our support right now....and not his own clubs fans picking over his bones. imo.
When he's gone...or we know for sure he's going...then is the time for a new manager thread. again only imo.
Ffs we don't have long to wait before we know either way.

That's not true.
I have refuted each and every one's flirting with big moan, not just you, but you seem to be jumping at every one's negative post about him. Get off it and try and post in the Library, The music thread etc, it's a good stress release dude.

That's not true though is it? Otherwise, i'd have 37k odd posts.
I think Capello would be my first choice. He's just a born winner. The problem with him is that he's already said he doesn't want to go into club management again. He also prefers a very defensive approach, so after the teeth grindingly pragmatic football of the last few years (3 months of last season aside) we wouldn't really be getting any different.
Same with Lippi who (like most Italian coaches) are defensive in their approach so again although a born winner and superb tactician we'd not have any different football to watch. Not that I'd care if we start winning trophies again.
Then there's the English league options of O'neill, Hodgson Etc non of whom would be a step up from Rafa in any way shape or form.
Young foreign coaches? Laudrup, Rikjard, Blanc etc are on a lot of peoples radars and for sheer 'etchasketch' factor maybe a huge shakeup and fresh beginning would be great. But I'm not sure about trusting a new coach with a limited budget. You can't afford to get one window wrong....ask Rafa.
And then there's Jose. Known nothing but success wherever he's been, and most importantly here. He (contrary to belief) can work to a budget as he did with Porto and has done with Inter where he has sold to buy. He is (we are told) passionate about Liverpool, he is tactically astute, decisive (half time substitutes) and just good fun.
As I said Capello would be my first choice then Jose and finally Frank Rikjard (who I would just take a punt on because I love the way he plays football).
That said, so long as Rafa leaves we'll be making a step forward so I'll be halfways happy.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
