He was in his 40s and had at least won the French league. This guy is in his 60s and has won nothing outside of Scandinavia, doesnt look particularly good in the transfer market and is absolutely hapless away from home.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostPeople said Wenger who a few years ago!

but i dont think the best managers will come here without knowing whats going on with those 2 cunts.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostI just hope we get to keep all our best players and maybe add one or two more, but yeah I do think that any of those three, woy mon or Kenny will do better IF we keep the squad in tact, should we wait until after the WC when there maybe a couple more managers on the market?? We should not rush it, I don't think many players will be bought or sold before then anyway.
sorry to say it, but if we get in Roy i fear we maybe in for the long haul with the yanks as surely if we had any remote possibility of selling within next 6 months we woul just bring in Kenny as interim_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

So at least we're not getting much worse, despite the loss of Rafa, Gerrard and Torres.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostIf we appoint Woy, it can only mean that a takeover isn't on the cards, we're skint and Gerrard and Torres are leaving.
I fully expect us to finish mid table next season, and by mid table, I mean 7th-12th.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

The current team is much better than the position they've finished in. A fit Torres would have secured at least 4th by himself.Originally posted by Operation View PostSo at least we're not getting much worse, despite the loss of Rafa, Gerrard and Torres.
Now we're looking at a situation where 7th would be an over achievement.

agree with the first 2..........but maybe both will stick around for one season and see if anything happens. (preys)Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostIf we appoint Woy, it can only mean that a takeover isn't on the cards, we're skint and Gerrard and Torres are leaving.

And another thing, if the stories of Barcap finding two 'perfect fit' buyers for the club are true, only for the deals to be scuppered by Hicks stubbourness, that would mean that we could now have a new owner, with Rafa still in place for atleast one more season with money to spend!!!
Ffs Hicks really is a dirty greedy piece of ****e.

Only if you had a direct impact in his death.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI would actually be pleased if he died. Is that really bad?
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I'm not wishing death on him, nor am I going to kill him. But if the news came through....well, I wouldn't be in the least bit sad, put it that way.
