oh - off topic, forgot to mention this - at 6 a side last week, it was our finals night in Wallasey and Jay Spearing was down there watching with a few mates. Seems a quiet lad. Though he is ****ing tiny!! i mean really small, he looked like 4ft nothing. Oh and brushed off a few blue nose comments such as "oh you can tell liverpool aren't in the champions league anymore etc"

unfortunatley i was too busy playing to say anything but i am hoping he liked what he saw and is just waiting for the management and owner issues to be sorted out so he can pass on his recommendation

Kelly's desire for senior football could be aided by a versatility which was illustrated on loan at Huddersfield Town last term.

I would love to see something like this. Babel and Kuyt should be instructed to provide width and Gerrard to stay close to Torres. Alternative would be 4-4-2 with Kuyt and Torres upfront and Gerrard on the right. Insua doesn't deserve to play today, but we need to get a response from Gerrard and hopefully this would be an opportunity for that. Torres also needs games.

Saying all that, if the lineup is the same as against Wigan I probably wont watch it.

Would love to see Rafa drop a few and I mean drop not ****ing 'rested' including Kuyt and Gerrard but he won't it'll be same old same old with a tight boring away performance going for the 1-0 win
