Oh and brushed off a few blue nose comments such as "oh you can tell liverpool aren't in the champions league anymore etc"

unfortunatley i was too busy playing to say anything but i am hoping he liked what he saw and is just waiting for the management and owner issues to be sorted out so he can pass on his recommendation

Spearing right wing? Kelly at left back?

      Wat?

I'd try Kelly at CB - his preferred position, plus havent seen much if him there.

        No talk of Ayala...

he played left back when he was on loan. He's on record saying he doesn't think its different from playing right back to him...

I hope the players mutiny and ignore Rafa's instructions, play it by ear!

At least it'd mix things up a bit.

Kelly's desire for senior football could be aided by a versatility which was illustrated on loan at Huddersfield Town last term.

"At the moment I don't know which is my best position," said the 19-year-old. "I'll play anywhere across the back four. When I went to Huddersfield I played at left-back for the first three games and it didn't seem any different to right-back. I don't mind where I play."

Worst possible time for us to play a team who have just fallen off the pace in French la premiere division des champions du monde francais. Wounded animal and all that.

                      Reina

                      Kelly Carra Agger Johnson

                      Aquilani Mascherano

                      Kuyt Gerrard Babel

                      Torres

Subs: Cavalieri, Sotiris, Insua, Lucas, Pacheco, Riera, Maxi

I would love to see something like this. Babel and Kuyt should be instructed to provide width and Gerrard to stay close to Torres. Alternative would be 4-4-2 with Kuyt and Torres upfront and Gerrard on the right. Insua doesn't deserve to play today, but we need to get a response from Gerrard and hopefully this would be an opportunity for that. Torres also needs games.

Saying all that, if the lineup is the same as against Wigan I probably wont watch it.

Would love to see Rafa drop a few and I mean drop not ****ing 'rested' including Kuyt and Gerrard but he won't it'll be same old same old with a tight boring away performance going for the 1-0 win

i want gerrard as far away from the team as possible.

can't be arsed anymore, it's deppresing stuff, i'll watch this just because it's the only shot at silverware we have left.
