Thanjk you.

There you go again with your ' I HAD A DREAM' scenario..your a classic mate.
Right, i'm dreaming, but when you say stuff about whose decision it was to sign keane, you know all the facts and were in the room during the whole saga.
You never know who could've done better, but think back to some of those frustrating moments in games where rafa has made a decision that baffled you - and ask yourself if maybe someone else might've made a different decision.
As for next summer - i think it's the here and now that will decide it.
Either we somehow get 4th and rescue ourselves, or we dont, and if city do - that's it for us as a top club.
Of course some else would have made different decisions at times. Would it have made a difference? We never know.
About getting 4th(which I obviously hope we do). What if finishing out of top4 & crashing out of europe would mean the owners would have to sell the club? And getting 4th would mean they would stay on atleast a year and another 0 budget for summer?
I had other things on my mind too, but I'm of to enjoy saturday without football. Vacuuming. With Carlsberg.
City will get more top class players and it wont just be for one season. If we miss it this year, we wont get it again in the foreseeable.
Citeh will attract big players anyway, the reality is that the top four is no more after this season no matter what happens.
Although i share a lot of your frustrations about Rafa I feel that there is enough evidence to suggeswt he should be given one more shot, as i said earlier I believe he will tear up trees to make us a better side this Summer. The man wants to win and loves Liverpool sometimes in life you have to reach your lowest point before you reach the greatest heights. This seaskon could be the making of Benetez.
Hes intelligent enough to know that he hasn't done well enough and he is intelligent enough to know what has to done to rectify the situation. We can sit here for months arguing over this and that but the fact is he is atop class manager and he will bounce back, he deserves another shot imo.
He proper layed into the owners, saying the club was a mess, they were liars and should get out of the club. He also said the players should stand up against them. He got really passionate and had Merson and Nicholas agreeing with him. Well done to him.

That's the only potential positive. I'd hope to finish 4th though, and see them fail to find the £100m of investment, which would mean they'd need to sell anyway.

If you look at the players they've bought, they've been good - but no the true top level. And why? No CL football. If they have CL football, it will change. They'll get the cream of top players.

Interesting stuff mate.
How do the players take a stand though?
This is the kind of thing I am talking about all of this crap has the club in turmoil, how the hell can anyone manage in the envoirnment Rafa is in at LFC.
How can we accurately judge his performace as a manger without the full facts.

Instability at top was always going to find its way on to the pitch, it was inevitable and would happen in any organisation. Sort the boardroom out and everything else will follow suit.
We should have won the league by 20 points in March 2009.The fact we didn't at all that season had both my eye brows cocked in amazement. That was when I decided to give him one more chance, i.e. this season...to show us he has a plan B (forget a plan C, D, etc).
He's quite clearly shown he hasn't, injuries are no excuse. Love the guy, but no.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
i think the blame has for this seasons failure has to apportioned equally between the owners, the manager and our under performing players.
should rafa get another chance given that he's not had any money to spend and that our competitors have all improved their squads.
you could make a fair arguement for him, but do people think that he isnt getting the best out of what we already have ? is he getting 100% out of our current team ?
i dont think he is.
