Results are disgraceful, we all agree.

Some of you think it's ok, because of whatever reasons you have re owners, players etc etc. I think that despite other stuff, the manager takes the responsibility for the performance of the team. That's a simple enough rule in football, i cant believe anyone disputes it, but you do, so fair enough. I see no merit in continually going over it again and again.

If you think it's ok to keep him, then fine. I dont, given the results. If you think he will turn it around, great. I dont, i think it'll just continue or get worse.

You think what you think, i think what i think. The end.
    Agree..

Although i share a lot of your frustrations about Rafa I feel that there is enough evidence to suggeswt he should be given one more shot, as i said earlier I believe he will tear up trees to make us a better side this Summer. The man wants to win and loves Liverpool sometimes in life you have to reach your lowest point before you reach the greatest heights. This seaskon could be the making of Benetez.

Hes intelligent enough to know that he hasn't done well enough and he is intelligent enough to know what has to done to rectify the situation. We can sit here for months arguing over this and that but the fact is he is atop class manager and he will bounce back, he deserves another shot imo.
interesting theory u have there. i find it quite true, but i just find it hard for rafa to turn it around as the players morale are low and there isnt funds to improve our squad

If you cant the best out of what you have, why should you be given another year and 50m to spend?

I don't think I could bear to watch another season of this dross, even with a couple of new faces.

I've still to read a good answer to this question.

Won't Inter fans be asking the same question of Mourinho? He could be going out of the CL on Tuesday and they're under pressure in the league. Given their squad and resources, they should be walking that rubbish league.

It's not really a comparable situation though mate, under pressure, but still clear at the top, vs 6th place and begging for unlikely results to keep us in the chase for 4th place.

If Inter do win the title, which they're still strong favourites to do, it wont really matter whether they walked it or just scraped it.

Doesn't matter whether there's a literal comparison, fact is if they don't win the league and go out of the CL early (again) he will have failed miserably.

Granted at this stage it's still very much 'if' but still...

Even if that did happen, similarly to rafa's success at valencia, it's not really relevant in the context of our PL performance and the need for a manager who knows how to succeed in this league. It's not an issue of rafa not being a good manager, it's about whether he can get to grips with what's required to succeed in the PL.

                  With JM, that's not debatable.

It would be with us. Totally different kettle of fish to managing Chelsea, obviously.

Well it might be. Might not be.

I say we give it a shot.

Do you wanna make the phonecall, or shall i?

                        I'd really rather not.

I reckon you'd like him if you spent some time in his company. He'd win you over.

Dont tell me a re-enactment of the famous touchline sprint celebration at Old Trafford, as Liverpool manager, wouldnt bring a smile to your face

I've mentioned it before but for my sins I was there that day. For a short while I bloody loved him.

                                Pure conjecture.

And what ? you wouldn't like Rafa IF you met him

Rafa has won at Old toilet, he just smiled, didn't need the big I am, class.

Rafa is still our manager and has done us proud, he's up against it at the moment but he deserves to have our support. Okay it's not working out well this year and you keep reinterating you want him out but have the decency to wait until he's gone before telling us how wondeful his replacement will be.

Your bumming up of Mourinho is laughable but also predictable as your postings on here are a constant tirade against the Liverpool manager.

Give it a rest and support our team, through thick and thin and not just when we win.
