No your arguments are just based on pure frustration, which basically invalidates everything you say.

People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Of course not, as you clearly don't talk out of stupidity but out of frustration.

That would depend on what you wanted out of the £50m

With transfer fees and wages what would you realistically expect Rafa get for that kind of money

1 or 2 so called superstars in the Villa class (player not club) ?

I think you could use Wenger as an example of how to get the most out of your money.

Anyone could probably list Villa, Silva, Aguero, Ribery et al as obvious targets and spunk all that on one or two players but there are players in that Arsenal squad that cost peanuts in comparison and would certainly improve or add to what we have.

This is what Wenger got for his 50Mill..

Arshavin, Vermaelen, Nasri, Diaby, Sagna, Rosicky, Adebayor.

We wanted Arshavin but had to wait until we let go of Keane and by then it was too late.

Vermaelen cost double what we paid for Agger.

Diaby is a player we wanted, but Arsenal outbid us for who was at the time an untested youngster and it has atken years for him to produce anything.

Rosicky has been a flop due to injuries. Nasri is starting to settle now and come good but has not really done anything as yet.

                  Adebayor was amssive success.
                  Forwards.......

                    Rafa for £50m

                    £20m Torres
                    £8m Reina
                    £5m Agger
                    £17m Mascherano

                    £50m well spent?

I wouldn't trust him with that money.

Diaby and Nasri are both absolute class players.

Morientes, Gonzales, PENNANT, (even bigger mistake) Dossena, Riera.

                            There's 30 Mill right there..

I think the point was that all managers have a mixed record in terms of purchases.

I'd also strongly disagree with the assertion that Riera wasn't a good buy.

We made money on Gonzales too I believe.

Reyes or Wiltord weren't bad buys either but to use Pennant as an example is a bit daft, seeing as we bought him..
