Maybe I worked later than i thought (normally would have finished at 4pm which is why i thought it was an earlier kick off) cause usually i'd have been on it all day with my mates but remember clearly rushing home and watching it at my mum and dads cause i didn't have time to make it the pub

6.00 kick off = night game.

I remember getting out of Goodison and it being dark. And walking down County Road with about 20 other lads singing Scouser Tommy, until we noticed that our numbers had dwindled and there was only about 5 of us left, and there was a swelling band of disgruntled Blue Noses near Queens Drive baths. Cue quick dive onto passing bus and the exchange of friendly hand gestures all round. And the creeping realisation that I was getting too old for that sort of ****e.

I was at the Gary Mac derby and it was a Monday afternoon.

Must be getting mixed up mate. Me and my mate legged it out of the Gwladys after Gary Mac scored and it was light. I was very very pissed but it was definitely a daytime kick off. There were a few Monday/Friday night derbies around that time (the Westerveld/Hutchison 0-0 for example, a Friday night).

Thought it was 5pm kick off, maybe I was wrong

The match report posted at half seven - maybe it was 5.30. It definitely wasn't dark when we left.

see - i remember it being light too - and i'm sure i would hvae finished work at around 4pm and rushed home - if it was later than that i wouldn't have needed to rush and would have gone the pub.

but looking at this - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/match/217062 would suggest it was 6pm

No, it was 6.00. Just found it somewhere (can't remember where though now. Liverweb, I think). If it wasn't fully dark, it was definitely within the realms of duskiness. Which could actually pass as a Wishbone Ash album title from 1975.

We'll be able to tell exactly how light/dark it was at about 7.45pm almost exactly a month from today.

He is out of the team due to his form, as we are in a difficult situation where we need everyone to pull their weight why do so many people want a player off form included, when games have passed him by this season? I can understand people wanting changes, but surely we need players to stand up and be counted.
Aquilani has barely played mate so I think people are being too harsh on him. Coming back from an injury he needed game time and Rafa's been too scared to give it to him. I was at the Wolves game on boxing day and I thought he had a decent game. He's hardly started many other games.

At the moment Lucas offers nothing more than ball retention in deep areas and wasted possession. He should not be starting with Mascher, its ridiculous. Aquilani atleast faces the right way when he gets the ball
