That's what i originally replied to you about. Now you're saying you're confident of them dropping the points.

Think you've confused me with another poster...

My bad, sorry mate, complete case of 'idiot friday' syndrome with me today, at work and trying to do 50 different things at once

Apologies, i can now see your viewpoint and that of Big Red Ed, and that they differ

        Right, confusion over.

It was Big Red Ed who initially implied that the problem was that we need 3 teams to mess up, rather than us not getting the necessary points:

And then he posted again, now saying that it's us who will have the problem getting the points:

So in essence, Big Red Ed doesnt think the three others will all mess, AND doesnt think we'll get enough points ourselves.

So basically, Big Red Ed thinks we're ****ed

Thanks craig for your analysis of my posts. I do indeed think the combination of having to rely on 3 other teams bottling it and us gaining near max points is extremely unlikely.

Therefore I can indeed confirm that we are ****ed!

As i said before mate, i dont think it's a case of needing 3 other teams to 'bottle it'.

Spurs usually do lose to Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea - so we dont need them to 'bottle' it, just do what they normally do.

Villa's squad is look like it's running out of gas already. And City arent looking reliable either, always liable to drop points, no consistency.

To me, bottling it is when a team is going well and then suddenly starts losing its nerve and losing games it wouldnt normally lose. Spurs normally do lose against the top 3 and neither City or Villa are going well right now.

Craig you do realise that should we get fourth place and with it qualify for the CL then Rafa will probably escape the executioner and stay.

Will you have to change your anti Rafa stance?

It's this kind of childish nonsense that makes me want to tell people what idiots they are...

If i think keeping rafa will have a negative effect on the club's fortunes, why would i want him to still be our manager?

What kind of Liverpool fan would want to keep a manager who he thinks wont take the club forward?

I have a pro LFC stance, not an anti-rafa one.

Same thing...your against Rafa staying on next season, the reasons are that you feel he's not good enough to take us forward, and that him staying will be detrimental to lfc, yes i know...but that still means you have an anti Rafa stance, i'm not trying to imply you hate him ffs.....just that your anti him staying...which imo is an anti Rafa stance....for managerial reasons.

What's the point anyway, it's like hitting your head aginst a brick wall talking to you sometimes, a minor detail, like admitting that seeing as you don't want Rafa to manage the club after this season it means you have an anti Rafa stance...i see no debate in the matter....it's his skills as a manager you doubt, fine.

That's exactly what you're making it out to be - that i'm "anti rafa", and it's obvious why you're trying to paint that picture.

I'm not anti rafa, i like him.

I dont think we'll be successful under him though, so i want a better manager for the benefit of the club.

Go and bash your head against the wall then, instead of talking to me and trying to make out that i'm against rafa, for some lame agenda.

I've already said your stance wasn't personal, and down to your opinion on his managerial ability, but for me that gives you an anti Rafa stance, i really don't see the problem you have with it.

Let me make this clear, i do not think you dislike Rafa the man, and have never tried to imply that.

If the other poster you replied to was, then that's not what i was agreeing with.
