For me he seems to be the only player looking to find space to recieve a pass. There is no movement in our side this season, and that excuses the amount of lumping the ball we do.
Big time, this was a great chance for him imo, if we dont win Rafa has left himself open once again

Yeah, now give him the number 9 shirt, drop Kuyt and send Robbie out there to play alongside Torres.

Bruce just said that our formation is a lot more attacking than they'd planned for...we'll destroy them today.

No worries.............still love the man !

Says all the right things, and you can see its hurting him how badly we've performed this year......need this lad tied down for the rest of his career

I agree 100% mate it makes a hell of a difference to me too.

As a fan you want to see the players giving 100% and wearing their hearts on their sleeves, Gerrard and Carra have gone far too quite imo.
The reason why i single them lads out is because they are the local lads, the ones that are held in the highest esteem by supporters.

If we can tie down Reina and Mascherano to new contract it will be a massive step in the right direction.

All hinges on Gerrard's performance really. If he stays in position and puts a proper shift in, it's a great team imo, agaialnst Sunderland anyway.

Still see Insua as a weak link though.

                          Alot more attacking FFS!!!!

                          Where at home!!

I've said it in a previous thread. I would be happy with 4 great defenders and 1 Great holding midfielder and 5 attackers however you want to make up the formation. 1 striker or 2 strikers

I think it's a decent team and looks fairly attacking hopefully it will prove that to be the case and we can get a few goals
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Gerrard needs to start taking lessons in coin tossing. I don't think we've won the toss at home in the whole of 2010.

Couple of chances there, Kuyt should probably have scored.

Decent save in there from Gordon as well
