I can see rafa going for a barca at the bernabeu type game. Start really quick and try and get an away goal. They are quite a free scoring team and an away goal will be vital.

anyone would be better tbh - i know it's easy to point fingers etc - but what a ****ing poor poor decision this has turned out to be.....it's left us desperately short in middle - he has just been a passanger/dead weight all season - we'd have been beeter off trying sign scott parker, Jamie o Hara, or pretty much any centre midfielder in the league capable of running and kicking - even ****ing barry fegurson or someone from burnley/wolves/swindon town would have better than this no show

Why the over reaction to Aquilani being out???
He wasn't going to play anyway, does anyone honestly think Rafa was going to pick him ahead of Lucas and Mascher away to Benfica in the 1st leg??

Plus it's probably precationary, it's the same ankle he had the problems with, I don't see what the big drama is here.
