Portugese teams have a tendency to turn a football match into a farce, but they need a willing ref....which they all too often get when playing english sides.

It wasn't Benfica's fault the ref was so ****e and not giving fouls. If he wasn't giving them then Benfica had every right to foul even harder. We would do the same thing (lets get off our high horses here). Benfica played scintillating football at times. Good thing they had Berbatov up front or we'd be f*cked.

But they need the home advantage the most. The ref and especially the fifth ref were so intimidated by the fans that they gave every decision their way to avoid being firebombed. Benfica won't have that at Anfield and Torres will rip their dodgy defence another a*sehole. Can't wait.
